It all started with some homemade body cosmetics. Three women with similar interests, came up with this idea of a handmade body care pack.
The "U" with the accent, was transformed into a cosmetics jar, which is also the logo itself. There was a rotation game for G and E that expresses the time passing, but things staying integer.

The yugen scented candles, were separated into black and white jars, depending on the scents.

Kraft paper was chosen to accompany the products, since it was really the most suitable one for any of them.

The labels were designed in inverted black and white, depending on the jar, with a wide frame to help the materials stand together.

The basic yugen cosmetics series includes a body lotion, a body mist and a body bronzer. The whole logic behind the labels was the one of a vocabulary, in which we find new words and their meaning, as well as the scents used in the specific bottle.
In total, we chose a simple, clean language, with a black and white base so that it suits any material or color. There was a need for some transparent labels as well that revealed the content of the bottle.

Since we talk about a water based product, the design couldn't be less clean either. No effects, no colors, just materials and pure typography.
